Making a difference was really cool and seeing something we created as a class come to life and might possibly make a difference in the school that is like our second home is very cool. My part of the campaign was more behind the scenes I gave input on this and also I wrote a newspaper article about the campaign and I have never done anything like that it’s really scary to think that something you write will be read by a lot of people. I have never written a newspaper article so it was tuff for me to write it I have written short stories but never a newspaper article. The other people in class did a lot of amazing work. I got really jealous of some of their work it was amazing like the guys who did Photoshop they created the posters and they look so professional. The other artist who drew the logo is a fantastic artist. Our class if full of talented kids and I wish I was more like them. Some of the skills needed to utilize this project are communication I don’t like talking in class but it was necessary for me to get things done. You also have to learn to give in, if a few people in your class don’t like the idea you gave you either have to try and make it better or just give up on it. Other skills are just being able to work well with other people if you can’t get along with someone you are going to have a hard time working. I really liked that we all got to work together and get to do a hands on project. The class gets to make the decisions about the whole project. I really liked the fact that the class got to pick a topic we all liked like stereotypes. It is way easier to do a project on a topic that you are interested in rather than something your not. I have never done a project like this in any other class. It is really amazing to see an idea turn into something so inspiring to others. I learned that advertising is everywhere you can’t really escape it. I never really noticed that I see so many advertisements in just one day. The advertising companies really don’t care about you they just want you to buy their product. Advertising doesn’t really care if they hurt offend or disrespect you because they just really want you to talk about them. That is the whole point of advertising to get you to talk about their company or product. There like a hunter and you are there pray. One thing I would have differently changed about this project is I wish I had a bigger part in it all. I wish I could have helped more. But overall this was a really fun and interesting project if I got the chance I would have done this again and again.
